We love
what we do.

The Glynn County School System is the foundation for a dynamic and diverse educational community that serves Brunswick and the Golden Isles of Georgia. As one of the state’s oldest public education systems, originally chartered in 1788, Glynn County blends its tradition-rich history and unique coastal setting with 21st-century innovation to create engaging learning environments for more than 13,000 students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12.

We are searching for talented individuals to join our community as we transform the lives of our students while providing high-quality teaching and learning opportunities.  Glynn County Schools offers cutting-edge technology, growth opportunities, employee perks, and a competitive compensation package.

Alternative Pathways

Have you been thinking about teaching, but don’t currently hold certification?

If you already have a bachelor’s degree, you may be able to qualify for a Provisional Certificate.  This is a 3-year, non-renewable certificate that allows you to teach while you complete a certification program.  This certificate can only be issued once you are hired to teach in a Georgia school.

Retirement

“Being a Georgia public educator puts you among the wealthiest retirees in the United States.”

That might be hard to believe, but it’s true. In this video The Million Dollar Wagon, Dale Alexander proves this and highlights the one greatest advantage that many educators (and the public) may not realize.
